Picture Perfect - SHAPES!

This is a view off the walk around a nature center in our area, where we take the dogs to run through the woods on the weekends. If I ever hit the lottery, whoever built this place is building my house, very much like this building :) Love this rock work, which is combined with wood siding and tin roofs :) This picture is my computer wallpaper at work during fall. I took this in November of last year, with my Panasonic DMZ-FZ5, and cropped it down a bit.

for 6 weeks we will be in Competition mode

and the following rules will apply

Each week a theme will be posted up on WEDNESDAY, Ten of The Best photo's will be selected by the host by Saturday.

On Saturday a poll will go up and you all get to vote for 24 hrs, for who you think was the best/most effective picture for that theme. The winner will be announced once the POLL closes.

The poll is for contacts only, its the only way we can assure one vote per person.

The one with the most votes (by you) will receive a special icon which they can copy and proudly post on their site as Best PP Photographer in The World for the week..

RULES:

*only ONE picture please (and we are very strict about that) and it should be YOURS (even more strict about this)

*not off the internet, not a friends picture but your very own

*No slide shows please, and no automatic music on the page, these slow the loading times of the pages.

*Post a comment here on the PP site as usual so that everyone can link back to your page and see your pic

*By all means mention your camera and lens used

*Picture enhancement and alteration is allowed, but please mention what and how it was done.

**Open your page for viewing for EVERYONE, just that blog for that day...and then visit as many others as you can!

*Try and post a decent size pic on your blog page, so much is lost if the pic is too small or too big.

* your picture should in a blog all of its own and not part of a lengthy piece of writing, a short poem or explanation of the picture is all that's needed

Remember the pictures chosen for the Top Ten Poll are chosen not only because they have all the necessary elements for a great picture, but because of their interpretation of the theme too.
